Last year, I had the opportunity to work on an interesting Virtual Reality project about hazard analysis and prevention. The project was unique and one of the first of its kind.

It opened up my eyes to what is possible with technologies like VR, AR and MR and how to approach designing for these experiences. UX design research methods are still relevant and valued in this space, as long as you are designing for humans, the psychology, usability and human-computer interaction principles will not change that much.

In this article, I’m going to share with you my learnings, process, and tools I used along the way, hopefully, you will find some useful information to help you out on your own project or research.
